Do I need to know how to call a dance?
No. Debbi teaches you how each dance works. You prepare your group and practice the full sequence together, then the recorded caller gives the continuing cues with the music.
What is a caller?
A caller is the person who guides a dance by calling out the next move, such as ‘circle left’ or ‘swing your partner.’ Our music includes a recorded caller, so your group can follow along without hiring one.
Who is this for?
Families, homeschool groups, churches, and community groups who want to bring beginners and mixed ages together. Choose the license that covers your gathering.
Do I need a barn or special equipment?
No barn is needed. A suitable hall, gym, community room, or other clear space can work. You'll need a device and speaker that make the music and calls easy to hear.
What is in the Host Kit?
Eight teaching videos, eight real-group demonstrations, called and music-only tracks, calling cards, and guides to help you organize the gathering. It is digital; nothing ships.
How do the licenses work?
Personal Host covers one household's private, noncommercial gatherings. One Organization covers one named co-op, church, school, or community organization and its designated hosts. Paid or public commercial events need separate written permission.
